The Classes

The classes follow the Yang style lineage as refined and transmitted by many advanced teachers.

In our internal Taijiquan (Neigong) system, training progresses through the following components:

5 Loosening Exercises (Songshen Wufa)
Foundational practices for releasing muscles, tendons, and joints. They support emotional balance and mental relaxation and help shift from Daily Mind to Deep Mind. They prepare the body and mind for form practice and partner work.

Taijiquan Forms (Duanjia, Changjia, Sanfeng Kuaiquan)
Short, long, and fast forms develop the refined connection between body, energy, and mind (San Bao). Training focuses on coordination, internal forces such as compression and extension, and five phases of muscular activity with their related mental states. Guiding internal power waves reduces tension, increases elasticity, sharpens body awareness, and deepens inner balance. The work integrates attention (Yin) and intention (Yang), illustrating core Daoist pairs such as calm in activity, relaxation in structure, and steadiness in motion. During the intensive classes we focus on the short form.

Partner Training (Tuishou)
Partner work trains sensitivity to one’s own forces and those of the partner within Taiji principles. It helps apply practice to daily life, including managing external pressures such as workplace stress. Using the principles yield–neutralize–issue, one learns to transform pressure instead of resisting it, supporting practical resilience and holistic well-being.

Meditation (Mingxiang)
Alongside moving meditation (Donggong), we practice still meditation (Jinggong) to deepen and stabilize the mind. These stages integrate the previous training elements and balance the energies activated in practice or daily life through Daoist methods. Meditation in its various forms has long served as a path of inner insight.

Trainer
Thomas Klosinsky Thomas Klosinsky now spent 14 years studying traditional Taijiquan and Qi Gong, practicing their methods, understanding their principles, and integrating them into his life. The Five Elements system and traditional Chinese medicine led him to Shiatsu training, which he completed in 2016. Since then, he has practiced all these disciplines regularly and considers them a daily enrichment. Through learning and consistently practicing Vipassana, he discovered another path to inner processes and a deeply transformative art. This experience informs every aspect of his life.
